Neural Engagement Therapy and Training (NETT) education courses are
designed to expose the participant to concepts, theories and practical
techniques that have as their basis an understanding of the importance of the Nervous System in function, performance, and rehabilitation.
The courses are designed for trainers, coaches, allied health professionals and anyone involved in providing training and therapy for both athletes and the general population.
The NETT Foundations Course introduces the student to concepts as well as specific details of various assessment and management tools to facilitate a better ability to consider the effects of Neural Engagement Therapy and Training (NETT) techniques on the Human Nervous System.
The Foundations Course is suitable for trainers, Allied Health professionals or anyone interested in developing an understanding of how interventions with a Nervous System biased approach can improve both rehab and performance outcomes.
The NETT Foundations Course presenters are all experienced practitioners who integrate NETT interventions successfully into their everyday practice.
This series of lectures will provide practical and useful tools for any trainer or Allied Health professional to improve their client outcomes.
(Modules 1-8)
Module 1 : Wellness Facilitated by Eustress
Module 2: What Is the Nervous System?
Module 3: Examining heart Rate Variability (HRV)
Module 4: Neuron Theory and Frontal Lobe
Module 5: Functional Neurology
Module 6: Balancing Extremes
Module 7: Mind/Body Interventions
Module 8: Daily, Weekly Training Intervention Schedules.
The NETT Advanced Course dives deeply into understanding interventions that can assist
in the management of Central Nervous System, the Autonomic Nervous System and the Enteric Nervous System in training and therapy environments. The multi-disciplinary team presenting the course draw from a vast experience in the training, human performance and therapy space, and present diverse and cutting edge insights into Neural Engagement Therapy and Training (NETT) modalities.

The brain is quite complex and is often overlooked as a major component in assessment of mobility and risk of falling. However, because deteriorating brain function occurs as part of the aging process, we must have a better understanding of basic concepts of the brain to be better able to identify risk factors and apply early intervention to falls-risk individuals.
This module outlines the theory and practical components of a ‘brain training’ approach to
the assessment and intervention of balance and mobility in the elderly population.
We explain the function of balance as one that is driven from central mechanisms (brain driven), and we explain how we can assess and intervene at that level to improve balance and reduce falls risk.
The introduction to TRE (Trauma Release Exercise) course has been compiled by Richmond Heath (TRE Australia) and is a fantastic introduction to the powerful tool of Neurogenic Tremor.
This course details the history of TRE and provides a framework where you can experience and explore Neurogenic Tremor and begin to integrate it into your NETT program.
As a tool to improve Nervous System health, and particularly create a more 'parasympathetic' state, Neurogenic Tremor is a powerful self-regulatory mechanism that can be easily learnt and executed by enroling in this introductory course. More than 10 000 people have already experienced this course, and Victor and Richmond will be creating an Advanced Course in 2025 to further enhance your capacity to use Neurogenic Tremor in Recovery and Performance.
Victor Popov is a Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist with over 35 years experience in Elite Sport and Performance. His experience includes working at 4 Olympic Games, numerous World Championships in a number of sports, multiple Tour de France events as well as a multitude of other elite sporting events.
The presenters in the NETT courses include experienced Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Nutritionists, Strength and Conditioning Coaches, Exercise Physiologists, Yoga Instructors and Breath Work specialists.
They all share an interest, passion and belief that applying techniques that consider the importance of the nervous system in Performance and Rehabilitation lead to a better outcome for their clients.
